Márcia Alves de Siqueira
Márcia Alves de Siqueira is an Occupational Therapist, certified by the Federal University of São Carlos – UFSCar (Brazil), having also earned a postgraduate degree in Hand Therapy and Physiology & Biomechanics by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo – Brazil. She is a Meir Schneider Self-Healing Method Instructor and Therapist certified by the School for Self-Healing in San Francisco – CA – USA. She is also one of the creators and founders of the Brazilian Association of Self-Healing, serving as its first secretary.
For more than 20 years, she has been working in Brazil with the Meir Schneider Method in both prevention and treatment of various health problems (neuromuscular, neurological, muscular, spinal, rheumatic, bone, joint, gastric, repetitive strain injuries, postural, circulatory and vision related problems). During this period she has also held lectures and workshops on the method. Since 2012 she has been teaching Level 1 courses in Brazil.
